the tour
Discover your Swedish heritage in this historic guided experience. Join a Swedish emigrant, known from the trilogy of books "Utvandrarna" (The Emigrants), by Swedish author Vilhelm Moberg. From 1851 to 1910 about 1 million Swedes emigrated to America in search for a better life. On this tour an actor/guide will assist you as you search your Swedish roots. Visit the home of your ancestors and experience your heritage in a new engaging way. Share your family history and we will give you a tailored experience in search of your past. Learn about the 1800s and the Swedish settlers, who left their homeland to move to a New World across the Atlantic ocean.
